Cermex’s TSi is an automatic continuous motion shrink-wrapper that can be used as a carton packer or a bottle packing machine.
Specially designed to handle small bricks, bottles and jars whose capacities range from 65ml to 500ml, the TSi is an extremely compact shrink wrap machine that offers multiple formats and thus exceptional flexibility. The TSi uses a diagonal infeed system (CCO), with possible product collations including 2 x 1, 3 x 1, 4 x 1, 5 x 1, 2 x 2, 3 x 2, 4 x 2, 5 x 2, 3 x 3 and 4 x 3 formats.
As a high speed carton packer, the TSi shrink wrap machine has a throughput of up to 26,000 products per hour, while as a bottle packing machine, it can handle up to 66,000 bottles per hour. Technical characteristics of the TSi shrink wrap machine
Available in painted or stainless steel, ideal for the food industry, the TSi is a compact, ergonomic shrink wrap machine that is easy to operate and maintain. Standard features include the capacity to handle clear, printed or registered film, quick and easy format changeovers, a film tension device and injection unit fitted onto a removable rack, and remote maintenance via modem.
A range of additional options enable the TSi to be customised even further, whether as a carton packer or bottle packing machine. These include: DIS (Dual Injection System) for automatic film reel changeover without seal, conical infeed to place products onto two lanes, insertion of leaflets/cards prior to shrink-wrapping, product merging onto one lane at shrink tunnel outfeed, motorized tunnel outfeed and packs rotation device.
