Innovation: Sales Success of the New Cermex SW Side Loading Case Packer

The SW Side Loading Case Packer for both RSC and wrap-around blanks, combining flexibility, advanced ergonomics and compact footprint, is reaping the success Cermex expected with what is now the eleventh confirmed order.

Constantly in pursuit of innovations to meet its customers’ requirements, Cermex presented its new SW Side Loading Case Packer for RSC and wrap-around blanks as a world exclusive at the Emballage and Pack Expo shows last Autumn.

Only a few months after this launch, two multinationals and one French company within the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries have renewed their trust in Cermex by purchasing this new machine.

The valued advantages: compact footprint, accessibility easily adapting to all layout constraints, as well as quick and easy size changeovers for the operator.

The machines sold load cartons into RSC, but the customers still have the possibility of easily switching to wrap around blanks or even handling both types of secondary packaging. The objective is to increase loading line flexibility as well as to reduce costs and production lead times.

The case transfer, the loading operation and the collation system are equipped with a new servo-motor technology which guarantees smooth and reliable transfers.

These machines currently reach speeds of 12 cases per minute.
